'Teaching a way of living'

St Benedict's is proud of its uniqueness. Our mission, 'Teaching a way of living', defines us as a Benedictine school. We respect the dignity of all and welcome pupils of other Christian denominations and, in the Senior School, other faiths.
St Benedict's is more than a school - on joining you are welcomed into our community, one to which your heart and spirit will always belong. You will thrive and live in our nurturing environment, growing in confidence and building your self esteem.
We invite you to come and visit our School and see for yourselves the many opportunities that exist here. You can be sure of a warm Benedictine welcome.

Business Profile

St Benedict's is a co-educational school with a proud academic record. Its Mission of 'Teaching a way of living' is at the core of the holistic education that is provided to boys and girls throughout the School from Nursery through to Sixth Form.

About Us

Recent Inspections by ISI (November 2009) and Westminster Diocese (2010) have endorsed our success in fulfilling the school’s aims. Pastoral care is described as 'outstanding.'
The Junior School and Nursery provide a supportive, friendly and vibrant co-educational environment. Your child’s educational journey begins and the seeds of our Benedictine ethos are planted, nurtured and given every opportunity to flourish.

In the Senior School pupils are encouraged to think and express themselves creatively, to work independently, to take pride in all their achievements and to enjoy the rewards that scholarship brings. In the Sixth Form students are encouraged to take on leadership roles and all contribute to a variety of projects, which raise funds for communities across the world.

There has been huge investment in buildings and facilities, including the award winning £6.2 million Cloisters complex, opened in October 2008.
